So. I have seen SEVERAL tweets from white women like the below regarding what happened between Will Smith and Chris Rock tonight.

I don’t recall seeing tweets like this when Casey Affleck, an abuser of women, won his Academy Award. I want to make it clear to all of the white people, in and outside of Hollywood, JUMPING up to condemn Will Smith as an “abuser” while they have remained silent about white men who have abused women and about the degradation of Black women that has happened in front of them, you speaking up now is white supremacy and racism at work.

Lastly, this is an intracommunity situation: unless you’re speaking up about the racism and white supremacy at play here, the opinions of white people aren’t needed or wanted.
