Jodie Abigail Landon

Today, I’m spotlighting someone we all know is Black because she is an icon and a legend and she deserves. Jodie Abigail Landon. As someone who was one of the few Black kids in her high school, Jodie’s words resonated with me *so* much. We were blessed with Jodie in 1997 and I don’t know who wrote her character, but they were woke before we knew what that meant. Jodie made the best of her situation, got what she wanted in the end and I love that for her. In case you didn’t know, Jodie was voiced by Jessica Cyndee Jackson.

Black feminist. Lawyer. Writer. She/her/hers.
