Big Brother All-Stars (American Season 22): David

If you’re like me, you felt David from Big Brother American Season 21 didn’t get a fair shot. He was chosen, along with almost every other person of color in the house and the oldest Houseguest, to compete in an elimination challenge in the beginning of the game and was eliminated. He was given a chance to get back into the game, but lost that competition too. He never voted in an eviction ceremony, got to play in an HOH or veto competition or be a Have Not. Basically, he only got the tiniest of tastes of the Big Brother experience.

And if you’re even more like me, you thought it was possible David could’ve won Big Brother 21 if Jackson wasn’t such a racist. David figured out basically every alliance in the house and everyone in them despite only being in the house for a short period of time.

When David was announced as a Houseguest for Big Brother: All-Stars, I was ELATED to say the least. Once I saw two other Black people would be playing with him, I thought just maybe he’d make it far in the game. And then the competitions started. And David didn’t do very well. At all.

He lost the competition that would’ve enabled him to compete in the first HOH of the season. Then he lost the second HOH competition, going out on the first or second question. (I was competing at home and knocked it out of the park BTW.) Then he lost the Safety Suite competition. I haven’t watched tonight’s episode yet, but from watching the Live Feeds until 3 AM (I live on the East Coast), I know he lost…
